Meet the doctor
Steven D. Kushnick, MD, is a double board-certified surgeon specializing in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery (ENT) and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has his own private practice in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, and has been serving the residents of New York City for more than 30 years.
Dr. Kushnick serves as the chairman of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department at Brooklyn Hospital. Dr. Kushnick is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of high-quality ear, nose, and throat care. He treats patients from infancy to adulthood, using the latest techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.
Dr. Kushnick graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University and received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He then completed his otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he was the chief resident. After his residency, he continued his training by completing an internationally recognized fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Beverly Hills, California, at the Lasky Clinic with Dr. Frank Kamer. He has received national awards for his medical research and has published in otolaryngology textbooks and medical journals. He has also lectured at national and international medical meetings.
